Who is this software for?
Licensed Philippine notary publics — solo practitioners and law firms. The walk-in clients themselves do not use the app; they receive emails when their documents are ready.
Does getnotaryo perform the notarial act?
No. The notarial act is always performed by your commissioned notary public. getnotaryo is the software that helps you intake the client, draft the document, allocate the register number, generate the print-ready PDF, and produce the monthly report.
How does Doc. No. reset work?
By default, Doc. No. resets to 1 on January 1 of each calendar year, per Rule VI §2(e) of the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice. We support a minority interpretation (continuing through the commission) as a per-notary setting.
Can I use the same product for both paper and electronic notarization?
Yes, with separate counters. Paper acts go into the bound Form 143 book numbering; once your notary is accredited as an Electronic Notary Public, electronic acts run an independent numbering counter inside the electronic notarial book, per A.M. No. 24-10-14-SC.
How does the monthly Form 143 reporting work?
We generate the certified PDF + duplicate-original PDFs that the OCA Circular No. 197-2025 requires. You send them from your email-of-record to the Clerk of Court of your commissioning court by the 10th of the following month. No fee for digitization is charged.
What payment methods do you accept?
For your subscription and credit packs to getnotaryo: GCash and BPI OneQR. No PayMaya at this time. For your firm receiving payment from walk-in clients, you can record cash, GCash, BPI, BDO, Maya, InstaPay, PesoNET, check, card, or waived.
Where is my data stored?
On AWS in us-east-1, with CloudFront edge nodes serving from Singapore and Manila for low latency. Aurora Serverless v2 Postgres for transactional data, S3 with versioning and KMS for documents.
How does the QR verifier work?
Every notarized document carries a QR code linked to a public verifier page. Scanning the QR (or pasting the document hash at /verify) confirms the document has not been modified since notarization and shows the notary name, date, and register coordinates.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export your full notarial register at any time (PDF + CSV). Your data is retained read-only for 7 years to comply with archival requirements before being deleted on a verifiable schedule.
Is there a free trial?

How do MFA and account security work?
TOTP MFA (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy) is required for admin, firm_admin, notary, and firm_billing roles. There is no SMS MFA — we do not send SMS at all.
Can I import my existing register?
On the Firm plan and above, our team will help you import the last 12 months of register data via CSV. Older entries can be archived as scanned PDFs.
